Colorado Alliance of Illustrators This Friday May 7th - June 11th My inside sources have told me the opening is going to be a great night of art and entertainment. Hula hooping and light dancers might make an appearance. Free beer provided by Del Norte Brewing Company and free food is a sure call. Awards will be decided by public vote. First place winning piece will be the featured image in the Colorado Alliance of Illustrators' chalk drawing at La Piazza dell'Arte Chalk Art Festival in June. Come out and vote! Voting ends at 9 pm.

While I often sketch from life, and turn bits and pieces of my sketches into experience and reference, Iggattude has been the only instance of one particular sketch turning into one particular finished work.
Sketched directly from a pose struck by my iguana, Iggy, when he was rather young.
