Odontiodia Lovely Penguin 'Fides', colored pencil. Odontiodia is the genus, Lovely Penguin is the hybrid, and is therefore not italicized or Latinized but capitalized. 'Fides' is the name of the cultivar, a division or a clone of a single plant. The genus Odontioda is itself a hybrid of Odontoglossum and Cochlioda.
