Sometimes some of the most unusual animals get overlooked for more typical
favorites. Terataspis grandis was one of the largest (and
spiniest) trilobites. He lived in the Devonian period and could
grow to about two feet, far overshadowing most trilobites that reached
two to six inches.
Trilobite: Terataspis grandis is a well-traveled creature. He has appeared at the following exhibits:
2004 Paleo Art Exhiition at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, in cucurrence with Society of Vertebrate Paleontolgy's 64th annual meeting. Winner of Best 3-Dimensional Award (first show ever!)
Western Interior Paleontology's 2005 Founder's Symposium, included in program booklet.
Guild of Natural Science Illustrators' 2005 Member Exhibition
